Hi, I'm Sydney Turner
With over 6 years of experience in special education, I’ve guided students from kindergarten through post-high school in developing the life skills and confidence they need to succeed. Along the way, I’ve witnessed the remarkable potential within every individual, no matter their disability. My focus has always been on practical life skills, independence, and social growth; tools that make a lasting impact beyond the classroom.
That same passion led me to coaching, where I now support teens, young adults, and parents in building life skills, navigating IEPs, and developing strategies that make daily life smoother. My goal is to empower families with the tools and confidence to thrive every day.
Education: I received my degree from Utah State University with a double major in Elementary Education and Special Education. My emphasis in severe disabilities allowed me to study autism, behavior management, and strategies for supporting individuals with a variety of other disabilities. After college I taught in a severe self contained classroom for four years. During that time I supported a range of students with physical, developmental, and intellectual disabilities.
